Graphics (VR) and configuration Problems at Programstart after World Update 3

Hello everyone,

before the World update 3 the FS worked quite well, which for me is more hardware-dependent, that is to say, for my hardware it ran really well compared to after the update. I’m flying VR with a Rift S and a GTX 1080 at medium settings. Now, since the update, I have had the problem that the picture stalls, including the sound, and it looks as if the picture briefly disappears like a flash in a white screen, so like white flashes. At times very often, I already had flights over very detailed landscapes that I canceled because it stopped or flashed every second. I don’t mean the weather now, but really the picture itself which disappears. Sometimes this flash is so short that you think the actual landscape remains but the cockpit only disappears for a fraction of a second. I also had this phenomenon before the update, but only very rarely. I updated all drivers today but the problem remains. The game selger seems to have gotten better in terms of frame rate under VR, at least from the impression that I didn’t check it! What is further annoying after the update is that the settings have to be reconfigured again and again at the start of the game and do not seem to be saved, which of course takes unnecessary time each time the game is started. The disadvantage is that everything concerning the software and the settings of the controllers that are not standard have to be adjusted again. So Asobo has to make some improvements! It’s nothing like that! do you have similar problems after the world update?

Greetings Harry

I know I read somewhere on this forum that someone had to go into Oculus and turn OFF the Beta Public Test Channel to resolve the flashing. Hope that helps.

That helps definitely… its an issue of the last oculus update vers.26 - not by world-3!

The flashes are 1-Frane-swichting of view. If you record it and go frame by frame, you can see the top of the plane… flashes are also in parallel with network-activity in the task manager. Any ideas??
