Today I turned on the POI to use it as reference. When I started my flight (I tried multiple places) all the POIs had gray cloudly looking Geodesic spheres engulfing them. Solution! In Developers Mode under Options I had checked (inadvertently) POI grid. Even though I turned off Developers Mode, the grid around POIs was still there. Solution was to go into developers mode and turn off the POI grid check mark. Those Geodesic spheres are now gone.
