Greatly improved graphic impression

Thought that the colors in the landscape looked kind of washed out and less than optimal. Started to play around with the Nvidia desktop color settings and now it looks amazing. This is super personal what you like so it is up to you. Digital vibrancy, gamma, contrast. brightness. Now I have a sim that looks much, much better. Can only say try it out.
RTX 2070 Super all sliders set to ultra and the rest to max, getting between 20 and 30 fps which is allright by me

Yes, I used Digital Vibrancy to brighten up the textures in Xplane 11. It can work quite well with no performance loss.

Totally forgot about that. Thanks

you can show a picture before and after?

If it looks now better than real life ask yourself how old are your eyes

I just turn on HDR, Problem solved.

You can also use the Game Filter in NVIDA gforce experience. Provides some shader options on-the-fly.

Thanks alot…will try

Thank you, good results here
Regards

how to do that?

It’s hard to show in screenshots from my experience.

Just hop into your settings and you can play with the colour settings and if you don’t liike it, just go back to default and you’re there

I forgot this as well, increased digital vibrancy and then adjusted the other settings. Looks really amazing now.

Thanks for the reminder/tip.

Rob

You need the Gforce experience from Nvidia. Once installed, you can access it through that menu

Wanted to resurrect this post: can anyone share what settings they applied across not only the desktop color options, but the 3d options as well? I’ve been tinkering with the settings but am not satisfied and would like to compare what others are running. Thanks in advance!

That might be true but in the Reverb G2 the colours of the landscape, farm fields etc in both ortho textures and photogrammetry look incredible realistic.
