Hello everyone, I want to use GSX pro to assign the correct airlines to the gates they use in real life at each airport. Do you know of a way to find this information? Thank you in advance and have a good flight everyone
This can be a tedious exercise to do all gates at a large airport but I’ve done it. Using FlightAware for my own simulations of real flights harvests at least one each departure and arrival gate in most cases in the US. To harvest all gates one can start listing gates used by each carrier by using the departing and arriving flights lists, but this can take many days of flights to see a clear pattern. Some gates are dedicated by carrier and others share several carriers. Like I said, it takes time.
I use FR24 because it’s world wide and most of the time you can see the exact gate number when you zoom in (satellite view). I check it when making a FP.
