I also noticed when a ai erj 145 taxied through me it did look to have a visible done cockpit also
On you tube a video was uploaded one hour ago on the “Cow Town” channel showing the Red Bull air races on rhe ps5. I’d bet that this is the second surpise. The official account commented it in the line of “welcome to the Red Bull air races” or something similar, so it’s pretty official now
I truly hope a thing that Jorg already announced as coming with SU4 and has been in marketing materials for the sim for over a year is not considered a “surprise”

How can something be a surprise that is even in the opening video we all see when starting the sim for more than a year now?
RB AirRace was announced at launch but delayed.
Barely a surprise if the game mode that was sold with the initial release is finally ready to be played.

My other aircraft guess would be the Boeing 737 max nine because the default 737 is listed as the 737 max so variants are an future option, but I noticed recently the fmc occasionally gets the 8 200 in its programming
The 8200 is high-capacity sub-variant of the MAX8. I think simply adding a MAX9 wouldn’t be a real “surprise” but who knows?

I like the idea of Microsoft copilot AI being introduced into the Sim in some way.
My preference would be a companion who could point out all the interesting geographical and historical points during a flight, and could answer deeper questions posed by the pilot about the area. This would massively increase the educational potential of the Sim.
Now that would be a surprise!

I kept telling people for months this was going to be the surprise, but no one wanted to believe me. Dec 8th Red Bull Racing is being released. Keep in mind, Asobo is off the last two weeks of December. There is not going to be a late December surprise as they would not want to release something that may require post release support. THIS is the surprise. Its being released Dec 8th to coordinate with the release of PS5.

This is, by a very long shot, the most insanely idiotic product placement ever commited to any form of interactive entertainment, surpassing Cool Spot, Yo! Noid and Seth Rogen as a playable character in Call of Duty. We are in for decades of mockery and ridicule from fans of any other flight simulator, and every second of it will be richly deserved.
