Welcome to the 46th Gunpilot’s Challenging Flights adventure flight series. This challenging flights event, located in the Italian Dolomites Mountains, was originally flown seven months ago. It was a much loved flight then, and this Friday you will see that the astounding scenery has lost none of its majestic charm!
In this action packed flight, that is bound to see plenty of hilarious spills and thrills, we take off on a very short airstrip surrounded by vineyards and tour thru the scenic Italian valleys and mountains that make this region of Italy so beautiful. However, your landing skills will be really tested on this flight and you will have to bring your “A” game along to survive this flight without any mishaps. Once airborne you will be tasked with over a dozen challenging landing locations, with only one registered airstrip planned to land on for a 10 minute pitstop roughly half way thru the flight. The outlandings range from medium to very difficult, and again a gliding challenge or 2 have been included, with the normal surprise challenge that you have come to expect being thrown in along the way.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Cessna Caravan as all landing and other challenges built into flight are
tailored for this aircraft specifically
Turn Damage mode off as you will most likely suffer at least hard
landings if not full on crashes
Bring plenty of Duc Tape for running repairs
Crash Helmets are optional, Prayers are advisable
Embrace “SLEW” as it will be your friend by the end of the flight
Practicing to make Caravan landing approaches at IAS of between 40-50knts max will see you nailing difficult landings with ease and precision.
