Can someone please explain to me how the “gusts per minute” graph is supposed to work? Currently I have it set to 4 gusts per minute, but the graph is showing wildly different data.
Am I reading it wrong? Please someone let me know how to interpret this and how it helps. Thanks!
Also, why does the gust plot always go from 0? If it is 20 gusting 30, I don’t expect lulls of 0 knots. Shouldn’t the gusts be superimposed on the steady wind?
I wonder if anyone actually tested this or gave it much thought when they developed it? You’d think that it’d only take a handful of lines of code to fix but yet it has been like this since forever?
I think it is one of those bugs that would be easy to fix but that nobody cares enough about to actually do anything about it. There’re a few of those…
