Happy 500 To Me

Happy to have reached the 500 hours. I got a late start and have only been flying this version of the sim for 16 months, so I average close to 8 hours a week. Not flying as much as I would like; often busy doing other stuff.

CONGRATULATION … I am in Dev Mode all the time, so never accumulate any hours (to loose)

Unfortunately, now you have a lot to loose, and your next flight might be back to 0 Hours, when you logbook get toasted :frowning:

There needs to be a way for users to backup & restore their logbooks, and not have to rely 100% on the" Asobo Cloud" to keep their logbook intacts.

I’m in the 200s. If only I had that much time to fly :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

That’s awesome, congrats!!!

I’m with you on the “not as much as I’d like to”. Started flying in August and just hit 300 hours.

Kids hockey season takes a toll lol.

Outstanding! I was an idiot and spent close to a year flying in “dev mode” before looking at my logbook and learning my flights didn’t get logged.

No biggie. It gave me an excuse to re-fly all the bush trips in VR.

Recently hit 500 hrs here too, most of which have been hand flown. In reality, I’ve probably flown a lot more than that due to flights not being logged after a CTD or testing things in developer mode.

I seem to log aprox 1 hour per day on average although I seem to spend about 2 hrs per day on the PC playing with settings, installing downloads or just taxi ing around exploring new airports.

Very nice, @CAPTAINAS007! It is very easy to rack up hours when you enjoy an immersive hobby like this. Blue skies!

Congratz, thats dedication :grinning::clap: I was on my way to 200, but started the sim one day and was back on 0 :see_no_evil:

I do group flights regularly, which help to bring them up. But at the same time we often land and talk for a while before taking off again. I often do 3 1/2 hour flights and regularly only get a little over two hours air-time due to all the talking we do before departure, at stops and at the end of the flight.

But it’s still a ton of fun to do group flights and I plan to continue doing them. There are always flights on the Events Calendar just about everyday of the week and several flights a day.

Congratulations on 500, I’m right behind you at 462. Once the PMDG 737 comes out I’ll be flying much more. I fly all over the United States, most flight are hour to hour and half legs in the TBM.
