I also run some driving games with this arrangement + dof h6.
I’m wondering what everyone has found to be the most realistic of these. I have simshakers for aviators + hapticonnect… i feel like hapti is a little less intense/less loud than aviators, but the sound seems different. Hapticonnect doesnt seem to have a way to distinguish rotorcraft vs regular vs jets though.
Having very little GA experience (4x in a small aircraft eons ago), its also hard to judge what “sounds” more realistic or how much intensity each slider should be at.
Anyone have any thoughts/experiences or maybe real world vs haptic experience?
One example, the h145 helo, with hapticonnect, the rotor hum is more like a buzz coming from the buttkicker, load up simshaker its more like a pulsing sound;
SRS is more like a lower level pulsing sound, that of a motor in a truck running
Also now hapticonnect wont even produce effects, even restarted… shows a 0.0.0.0… im this close to just requesting a refund and sticking with simshaker aviators (and prob either simhub or simshaker driving one)
Switching gears to simshaker wheels, it works, but there is no engine sound when sitting idle… simhub on the other hand seems to have it quite nice.
I’ve tried changing settings to no avail with wheels.
At this point looking like simshaker aviators + simhub is the winner here
I use Opus MSFS and run three shakers which also allows self loading profiles for each plane and is highly customizable. I also use fs realistic wich has buttkicker support. I find that three shakers is the sweetspot. One on the chair and two on the desk.
