Thought i’d check out the difference. Generally the quality & colouring is leaps above what we have now. It also seems to use the default Bing LOD system opposed to the ugly one that many of the UK’s use currently.
It’s also greatly expanded with Heathrow, City Airport, Northolt, Fairoaks & Denham now being surrounded by PG. Lots more landmarks & attractions are also covered now. Hopefully Asobo add all this data & it would be great if down the line they could expand to cover the rest of the towns inside the M25 border (or further). It would be great to fly from Elstree, Biggin Hill, Redhill, Thurrock & North Weald surrounded by PG, most of which are within the M25 border.
One thing i did find is that these PG spikes are quite common along the Thames, around reservoirs & other water bodies. Probably a pain to deal with but hopefully they can.
