Has anyone mounted any panels on their Honeycomb Yoke?

Pinched the heck out of my thumb once… tightening those straight on with some needle-nosed pliers.
Someday, I want to replace them with some nice, black, knurled hex types.

Just did mine now. Didn’t do as perfect as a job as you, mine still has like 1/16" of overhang but it’s waaaay better so I’m happy :+1:. It’s not casting a shadow over the top of the Honeycomb anymore.

Looks much better though. :+1:t3:

Hey gotta ask, do you experience any problems trying to dial in numbers (altitude and such) in MSFS using the Logitech panel? For me it’s jumping wildly. I can’t dial in say 25,200ft. Like if I get it to 25000 then very slowly turn the knob it will suddenly jump to like 26,100. I can sometimes get it to go in 100ft increments by slowly turning the knob but after a couple it just jumps to some other number. I have the Logitech plugin for MSFS installed as well as the X-Plane plugin. It works perfectly in X-Plane but not MSFS.

I’m using Spad.Next to handle the input of the multipanel. It’s also usefull for a lot of other input/output related things. Had issues where the dials where over the place with the Logitech drivers and this works perfect.

It’s a known problem. Supposedly going to be addressed in the upcoming Sim Update 3 (couple of weeks - unless delayed again).

There are many workarounds, including a couple third-party software solutions (SPAD) and just disabling several of the always-on switches… but I’m waiting for the official MSFS/Asobo solution.

Thanks to both of you! I can wait for the official fix, I’m mostly using X-Plane lately and having a blast with it. I did fly with MSFS today as I wanted to checkout Bora-Bora and Mo’orea. Just waiting for the flaps/ground effect issue to be resolved then I’ll go back to using it a lot more.

Hey - how far from the back of your monitor to the edge of the stand does the monitor extrude? How wide are the legs on the monitor? Are you using TrackIR?

Nice setup!

If I’m understanding you correctly it’s 7" in the middle and it’s 10" at the curved forward edges. The leg base extends a total of 19" wide. No TrackIR.
