Has there been any official response

…Has there been any official response from MS or Asobo about the issues that many users are experiencing?

If so, please point me to it. Thanks.

Don’t expect to here anything until tomorrow, when they publish there weekly forum post in #community:news-and-announcements.

Oh, OK. Thanks. I am just so frustrated.

Yeah, I appreciate that

Even if they were to decide to create and release a hot patch, it wouldn’t likely be out until next week. So your best bet depending on the effort you are willing to go to is as follows:

  • Give the sim a pass for a few days, wait to see what they say tomorrow, and otherwise pay attention to #community:news-and-announcements. Consider subscribing to this topic.

  • Use the search function here to check if people have documented the issues you are having, especially in #bugs-and-issues. - Users often find workarounds to certain issues, so that might just get you rolling.

  • If you are a real champion, report bugs through Zendesk to help Asobo identify and resolve bugs that were introduced in the patch.

The truth is though that most of the community feedback in the forum remains unnoticed. Asobo representatives have shown time and time again in Dev Q&A that they don’t follow or read anything here (except Jörg maybe). They often even didn’t know about pressing bugs that have been discussed for weeks here.

Not fully true actually.

There is a perception that no one shares stuff with Asobo, I thought this, but in-fact almost all the community team have weekly meetings with Asobo and share all the feedback they are seeing with Asobo. Whether or not Asobo act on this is a different matter.

But the feedback is 100% being relayed to Asobo.

Okay, sorry for that. I’m convinced the community management team does their best. What I meant is indeed that Asobo does not seem to react on the community feedback. I gave up filing Zendesk tickets (I did a lot of them with screenshots, descriptions and even videos). From my perspective, there seems to be a focus on Xbox and visual eye candy (all the world updates) while aircraft and scenery bugs remain unfixed. I paid for the Premium Deluxe package and still feel it was the wrong decision. All the planes look really nice (best in class actually) but can not really be used due to plenty of bugs or missing features or inop. Handcrafted airports (all editions) have been neglected entirely. I would rather wish Asobo does not produce any new planes or World Updates and purely focusses on Sim Updates.

Probably too busy counting their money right now.
