Having issues with "jerking" when Live weather updates

I’ve noticed something odd since updating with Sim Update 5, I usually do short flights with PMPA321/A320Neo/B3D737Max/ from Indy Intl, to O’Hare, not normally climbing above FL200. However upon trying a flight from Indy to LaGuardia tonight, I noticed once I climb above FL200, and the winds/weather from Live Weather updates the plane will “jerk” suddenly and the flight display that shows the wind speeds just shows dashes. It’ll then “jerk” again, and show the correct wind speeds. I haven’t come across this until Sim Update 5. I am doing a fresh install to see if it corrects it. Any advice/help would be appreciated.

I don’t know about the dashes on speed indicators, but I’ve definitely had a lot of abrupt jerks while at altitude. My guess is it’s related to live weather and passing from one cell to another where windspeeds are appreciably different.

Might be worth trying a flight with live weather off (if you have it on) and set to calm conditions, see if that changes things.

I have had this too, but only with live weather. There have been temperature changes of plus or minus 25 degrees between updates which causes an effect similar to severe turbulence.

Yep. Having this problem as well. Definitely a live weather update issue. I really don’t want to go back to REX Weather, but will if it means more realistic flights.

Same issue…

whats wrong with using REX weather though?

They updated REX so it might be better. I had this “jerking” issue when flying the King Air. I thought initially it was because I hit the joystick or yoke.
