Having no fun due to constant stutters - looking for support

Hi guys,

happy new year to all!

i am currently having some of the worst stutters since i start playing MSFS 2020. I have no idea what are the reasons for it. Moving the drone camera around a city is very challenging as i have stutters of about 3 to 5 seconds where the image just freezes. Until now i have not been able to find a solution to this issue.

I appreciate if someone can share their experience on how these massive stutters can be solved.
What kind of setting shall i start looking first for troubleshooting? is there a good tread already to solve this issue?

is the pre-cache setting already at ultra ?

does it happen everywhere, or only in dense airport areas ?

Sounds like your CPU is getting totally hammered by something. What is your terrain LOD set at? Try turning it right down to about 50% and see if that improves things. If so you can then start turning it back up to a point where your CPU is happy.

Having terrain LOD too high is the number one cause of long stutters from my experience.
