I’ve been getting into third party purchases over the last year since MSFS has been released, I’ve being enjoying helping developers create work of art through purchasing these products and making msfs real life. .
But…
Through so many of the one product now being offered through many companies. I’m really starting to loose track of what I have purchased and now I feel that I’m also loosing track of vital updates or worst…
The fear of double ups “paying for the same f-kn thing twice!!!”

Sydney Tampa…Four or five platforms now sell this product…
Or
Three or four variations of an airport and trying to decide/research what one to go for or upgrade to…
Trying to remember if you already have that airport because it’s offering an airport you already brought through another company (marketplace)
Is there some way for developers to create a software or link a product that we purchased, from whatever company you purchased from and have it linked throughout every single provider (MARKETPLACE being a big start) and mark it as “already purchased/owned”
I feel that at the very basic…
You pay a little bit more and buy from the original source…
That product should link through every other provider and mark it ‘already owned’
I hate the prospect of being scammed I also don’t like the prospect of paying for the same product twice… especially if I brought it direct from the original provider to help them grow.
I do feel it’s everyone’s responsibility to take note of what they do or do not already own but with this online world and all of these products being linked through countless platforms and then selling two or three various airport variations…
It does become fudgeking hard to keep up… it’s annoying to spend 30 or 40 on something and accidentally buy the same thing twice thinking you got a better version because you are on a website that offers three or four of the same airport (marketplace), it’s annoying when you don’t get an update announcement because a company has merged with another one and your details are lost, with these mod sizes being in the 10s of gbs… it’s annoying when you have multiple GBs of copies and double ups …

Time that our purchases (that are on offer elsewhere) are linked through every single “official/legit” platform
