In 2020 if I don’t frame limit the Smart Smoothing gets whacky when the framerate runs high and does a drop. Say like 50 to 32. I’ve been happy just letting the frames go where they want as the lowest ones are in the lower 30s. Overall, it just feels smooth.
I didn’t even know I had smart smoothing on in 2024, which is why I initially thought it was okay. Once I started digging around, I started to notice.
Have you tried updating the DLSS version? It helps some. 2024 ships with an old version.
