I’m not sure why folks would expect the same performance as in 2020. This sim has upped the detail in many areas. This is why system requirements are higher.

Try disabling displacement mapping in graphics settings, that will get you at least a bit closer to 2020 FPS.

What does displacement mapping do? What would I lose graphics-quality-wise if I turn it off?
