Given the UK is having another heatwave this week, I thought for Friday’s (14th) session we could go to winter. Starting at Wellington (NZWN) we’ll start with a water crossing down to New Zealand’s south island, working our way through the hills and mountains to finish at Invercargill, Usual 19:30 BST (UTC+1) start, UK317 JoinFS for multiplayer and the UK317/WAA teamspeak for comms. Any fast jet will be fine.

ALPINE MAGIC
Friday 04th Sept @ 19:30 BST (UTC+1)
Howsei is one step ahead of us for this one, so I thought it would be a little rude of the rest of us not to go and say “Salut!” in Geneva. A classic Alpine Magic session, starting at Innsbruck (LOWI) initially cruising through the valleys to the west via Lichtenstein en-route to Mollis (LSZM). Then, through the mountains to the beautiful city of Lucern, with a touch-and-go at Emmen (LSME). Passing mount Pilatus, before turning at Meiringen to climb up onto the Glaciers of the Bernese Oberland. At the Sphinx observatory we’ll dive down into the Lauterbrunnen valley, turning at Interlaken towards Kandersteg, with a quick taste of France to add a little interest on the way to Geneva (LSGG). Onto the finale, routing over the final airport of Sion (LSGG), to turn into the complex at Visp for a view of the Matterhorn at the Gornergrat observatory, before slicing through the canyon to finish back at Sion.
