Hi All - looking for a little help.
I’ve mapped the C172 G1000 heading bug knob to the heading knob in my Velocity One Flight Deck. This knob operates as button presses (B29 decrees and B30 Increase). Turning the knob quickly generates multiple button presses. This knob cannot function as an axis.
As the knob generates multiple button presses the knob behaviour never switches to 10 degree change mode and the bug only moves in 1 degree increments, so it takes for ever to adjust. To get the 10 degree increments you need to hold a button.
Anyone have any ideas how I can get a useable fast adjustment from this knob? It seems a shame to have a knob on my controller designed for this but have to map different buttons anyway. I guess this is a problem for any knob that triggers as button presses.
