Headphone simulation setting is retained for me session to session. I set it a couple of months ago and it’s still on now.

Using Xbox X currently in SU5 Beta but this was working in SU4 as well which is when I initially turned it on.

Cannot replicate neither (SU5 Beta).

Unable to reproduce.

PC, Steam, Sim v1.7.7.0

Moved to User Support Hub since cannot replicate at that point.

If any addons (community/Marketplace) disable them and test again.

So after some investigative work I have it solved. The in-sim devices were both selected as my headphone as required by the sim, but the Win11 output were on my external speaker. So the mismatch caused the headphone simulation button to be turned off by default. The description alludes to this but it reads like the sim selections have to be the same. It may be better to point to this setting in windows to fix any issues.
