just wanted to get peoples opinion here on whether i have an issue with my chip or if this is normal. i have a 13900k
so as most have mentioned, was getting constant crashes on dx 12 - no issue on dx11. problem has been fixed by setting the limits to 253.
what i see now is that cinebench r23 still immediately runs at 100c and throttles my p cores down to 4.8/4.7 and gives me a score of 35-36k. ive seen scores of closer to 40k with the same settings and chip.
i would have thought that setting the chips intended limits would not throtlte the chip in a test so wondering if this is a chip issue. my idle temps are 35-45 c (mostlty 40+) - could it be a cooler issue?
or is this not an issue at all ?
