Yesterday I ran some Cinebench23 tests on my rig (Alienware 14900k/4090) to see how my results would compare with yours. AW provides a factory overclock that allows it to boost to 6.1Mhz. HwInfo64 used to monitor temps etc… PL1 and PL2 both set to 253 in this profile.
The max Core Temp was reported at 88C and the average at 67C. My idle temps as I type are at 31C.
When running the sim, some cores will bounce off 100C, but the average temps remain in the high 60’s, low 70’s. None of the cores stay anywhere near 100.
And this rig only has a 240mm dual-fan AIO. Has anyone suggested checking your thermal paste application. Might be worth redoing that.
