now is a bad time to ask me this question lol, since all the new bios versions and the whole 14th gen fiasco…my temps have gotten even worse lately…I had started using the new intel profiles, and even with intel perf (307A limit), manually reducing ia vr voltage limit to 1400, and setting a massive 120mv undervolt…it was still spiking into the 90’s DURING a flight…I’m currently in discussions with some folk on another forum who suggest I should just reset everything back to default, not even undervolt and see what happens then…another guy is telling me to remove the side panel of my case…honestly, the performance of the 14th gen is good, but trying to get it cool and stable is an absolute nightmare…I wish I’d just bought something less high end.
If you’re on the latest bios, you can just ignore everything I said before though, as the settings will be totally different with the new intel profiles.
it’s all very confusing.
in a way, I’m glad I’m not the only one getting these 90+ spikes though.
