I don’t’ know how you came to this conclusion, but it sounds like the issue you’re seeing is due to degradation issues with 13/14th gen intel cpu. You might be able to get around the issue at least for now by lowering cpu voltages or clock so it doesn’t operate at it’s capacity, but you still have a bad part and need to RMA it. Intel will send you a replacement without the issue. This has nothing to do with directx12. The only reason you see it more with directx12 is because it it’s more efficient at using cpu threads.
