Hearing random chatter about using FSX Planes in FS2020

im hearing random chatter on many fronts all saying there is a article of a FS2020 saying you can easily drop older FSX Aircraft into FS2020 and they will still work.

Has anyone else heard this or seen this article?

A2A is currently working on trying to get their FSX products to work on FS2020, that’s all I know, get on their forums if you want to know more.

Wow, that would be fantastic. I have a ton of those and really don’t want to spend a fortune getting FS2020 upgrades

okay so thats one group, still doesnt fully answer the question at hand, has anyone seen this link or article or even attempted this yet?

Here’s the current answer from A2A, read up on their forums for updates, i’m not exactly following it all so I can’t give you a good answer.

From what I gather right now you can’t just take an FSX plane and slap it into FS2020, some settings need to be worked on by the original devs to get it to properly working with FS2020, depending on how easy it will be to do, A2A might re-sell their content for FS2020 at a cut price with new installers for previous owners, they explained the products for FSX have their own license for FSX so you’ll need to rebuy the product if you want to use it with FS2020 but you should get a discount if it’s going to be easy for them to do it.

all depends on how easily it can be done, it’s a work in progress.
