I think that this is because of the fact that none of the Airbuses are ready for the new EFB, and as long as iniBuilds won’t address this there’ll be no Airbus in the Carrier mode, and the fact that it’s A330 on the splash for the Heavy Cargo specialisation and there is a Cargo version of the A330 already in the game suggests that’s the intention. You can fly it in Free Flight, or just try. Tried couple times fly iniBuilds Airbuses (A320neo and A330) and the game crashed to desktop every single time, didn’t use SimBrief, just entered everything in the MCDU manually. On A320neo crashed about half way during flight from EPLL to EPKK and A330 crashed just after engine start on flight from EPLL to EPWA. Didn’t used the quick engine start, just done a whole checklists. I don’t know if this is or not related to the fact that all of those Airports are 3rd parties bought for MSFS 2020, but for sure FlyDesign assures that EPLL is MSFS 2024 compatible.
