In the last few weeks I have weird stuttering problems when flying 787 or 747.
Stuttering starts only when descending from about 380Fl to 200 and below, during long flights with both of the mentioned above planes. It doesn’t happen during take off or when gaining altitude or at cruise altitude, ONLY when descending (even if I’m not above dense areas).
This never happened before (I flew from London to Sydney twice without any problem).
It doesn’t happen when flying A320 (even during long flights around 5-7hrs).
I already tried everything - removing everything from community folder, reinstalling the game, checking drivers (all updated). It can’t be a hardware problem cause it happens only with 787/747 and only during the descend. Stuttering only gets worse during the descned to the level of being absolutely unplayable (sometimes eventually the game even crashes to desktop without any error message).
Is there any solution? Anyone had this problem? I can’t do long flights because of this and already wasted about 20 hrs after flying a few 6-7 hrs long routes without being able to land because of the stuttering (Tried now flying a 3.5 hrs route, same ■■■■ again - descended from 380FL to 200, heavy stuttering again and probably won’t be able to land cause it’s getting worse).
UPDATE - I just turned off the photometry during the flight and the stuttering ended. HOW ON EARTH THE PLANE MODEL HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH PHOTOMETRY?! I have the smoothest flights with A320 during every stage of flight, even when descending and landing in the largest cities like London with everything on ultra. This is insane.
UPDATE 2 - turned the photometry back on - stuttering didn’t reappear!
So this problem really looks weird now - turning off and bacl on the photometry during the descend while flying 787/747 solves the stuttering problem. The question now is why this problem even appears only when flying these 2 models?
