Helicopter cyclic movement affects TRQ and Rotor RPM even with clean/default bindings

Description:
Since installing the MSFS 2024 Sim Update 4 Beta, I’ve noticed a serious control issue affecting all helicopters.
Whenever I move my cyclic (joystick) to the left or right, it also changes the TRQ (torque) and Rotor RPM values — as if the cyclic was somehow linked to the throttle or collective.

I’ve already:

  • Reset all key bindings to default
  • Completely cleared and re-assigned all helicopter controls
  • Checked for duplicate or conflicting axes (none exist)

Despite this, the problem remains. The cyclic input still directly influences the TRQ/RPM even though there are no bindings assigned to throttle, torque, or rotor RPM on this device.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch MSFS 2024 SU4 Beta
  2. Load any helicopter (tested with multiple models)
  3. Move the cyclic stick left/right
  4. Observe TRQ % and Rotor RPM % fluctuating in response

Expected behavior:
Cyclic movement should only control pitch/roll of the helicopter and not affect engine or rotor torque/RPM.

Actual behavior:
Moving the cyclic causes unwanted changes in TRQ and Rotor RPM, which makes the helicopter behave unpredictably and nearly impossible to control precisely.

Additional info:

  • All assists off
  • Tested with clean profile and default bindings
  • Reproducible with or without Community folder content

Maybe try toggling all assistances on and then off again. I have the feeling that sometimes between updates they turn on but don’t show it correctly.

Also there is the new vortex ring state assitance which is turned on by default. Make sure that is turned off
