Interesting, I will give this a go today. I landed amognst trees the other day after 2 crashes. Not sure how I pulled this one off…

Stop doing the missions. You only get frustrated 
Its pathetic.
I guess that we are not so many that flies helicopter compared to fixed wing. Therefore they focus on fixed wing bugs first.

The entire career path in MSFS 2024 was obviously rushed in an attempt to sell something “new” about the sim. From the rampant typos in NPC speech to unplayable SAR missions, aircraft that spawn on rooftops, and even lack of flight plans that result in the local airport refusing to give you taxi clearance… Just don’t bother with it. MS/Asobo should be thoroughly embarrassed, but of course they aren’t because they got their money through bait & switch.

Random SAR Missions, in my case, my second SAR mission, it’s impossible to finish. There’s nowhere to land NEAR the objective as it’s all populated by trees.
Can’t finish the mission.

- The second mission will get you to an area with mountains and covered with trees.
- Approach the “lost person”, nowhere to land, impossible to end the mission succesfully.

• same here. Most rescue missions are broken. No place to land safe
I had a SAR mission in Canada where the absolute closest area available to land was about a mile away. Needless to say, the game didn’t think that was close enough to retrieve lost hiker. The list of bugs in this game is ridiculously long, and I didn’t sign up to be an alpha tester.
