This has completely bricked career mode for me. After grinding to get my own helicopter it has broken all heli missions. Very disappointing. I’ve tried the fixes suggested and they don’t work. Thank god I didn’t pay for this and got it in gamepass.

I saw this last night when trying to fly the H160. After several restarts and issues, I noticed at the moment the flight started it appeared my collective was stuck in the High position. After I moved the joy stick collective a bit the sim collective broke loose and started working correctly. Hmmmmm… Almost like it was starting in the default position. In this particular case I am using an X52 which I reverse the throttle for heli collective use.

Ruinded my reputation and wrecked my newly bought H125 that has not even flown once!! To be honest that is even more than anoying now those bugs. Again have to fly VIPs to get money in the bank to repair it and thus have to listen to the same unintelligent VIP bla bla not cutting their connect as they have to all phone the d**n driver as they forgot the number. Grrr… not nice MS/Asobo.
Bouncing helos problem has been ixed by the latest patch , at least with my install.
After hours of messing with this game to figure out a fix or workaround for this bouncing helicopter glitch.
Here is the workaround, In the mission hanger click on management, fuel and payload, finally click on manage fuel either fill or remove until you have about 95% fuel then back out of the mission. It should be fixed until you get to a fuel level that glitches out. (Full or Empty)
Also note the Robison R66 is glitched it always ask you to set a parking brake at the end of a mission therefor there is no way to end the mission.

It was fine before the patch for me, only started after 1.2.7.0

I also see my helicopter bouncing if I’m out walking around and then turn to look back at where I left it parked. It’s like the sim has removed it from existence as long as I’m not looking at it, and then when I look back, it’s like “Oh ■■■■, he’s looking! Quick, put it back!” but it does so very sloppily, as if it’s dropping it on the ground from about 5 feet up.

• Yes. everytime I load a mission, free flight or anything involving a helicopter it jumps and results in a crash immediately, resulting in an error

• Helicopter is jumping in the hangar prior to even flying. I have tried starting in free flight or any mode, I have tried both with and without controllers plugged in and results in same outcome.

I’m curious, is anyone having this happen, and does NOT use VR? I am trying to eliminate VR switching as a suspect.
The same thing happens to me, I tried several types of missions and the same thing happens in all of them. Greetings.

• Yes, but it seems to do it way more often at many airports, does it in free flight mode, and it seems to be happening in both employee/freelance mode much more, since the last patch (1.2.7.0) Every Search and Rescue mission seem to also do it, as I have done a couple before the patch, but now I don’t think I can do any of them.

• I’ve tried re-installing MSFS24, I’ve updated everything possible on my PC, rolled back latest updates, nothing is working. My machine doesn’t have much on it, its just Steam/games. I rarely ever have odd issues, or crashes with anything. This is happening so often, its becoming very frustrating, because I paid a lot of money, for something I cannot use.
- It seems as though it has something to do with the Cabri G2 helicopter, I have never purchased a plane, only the G2, and I feel like it has to do with weight, because while the h125 has done it many times, it seems like heavier crafts start doing it very slightly, then stops. I can’t test anything, nor do I want to, because when this happens with a purchased vehicle, its gone (crashes) before you can even click “Start the flight” and if you choose a employee mission, you lose almost the entire bar of the S,A,B,C rating your at.

• Attempted the free flight work around and the helicopter is bouncing in free flight as well. Unable to use helicopters anymore as they bounce any time they are on the ground

• Yes, though the issue is on both player owned and mission helicopters. Helicopter wildly bounces during premission cutscene, then bounces with enough force to cause it to crash once i press Shift + C to enter. Though in certain vehicles they will simply crash as soon as control is gained after pre-mission cutscene.

- Started today with crashing in Career mode. Tested in Free Flight. The Heli starts shaking when - from my view - coming to ground effect. When touching down gently and pushing the collective full down, it bounds back and crashed.
