I can’t believe I hit the uninstall button on 2020 when I didn’t even need the space. My cleaned up new installation of it finished this morning. I think I may pop in to 2024 to do some career stuff-if they fix the hurricane turbulence even when it says 6KT wind in the briefing-then stay with 2020 for point to point, that and MP management of aircraft gets sorted out. I’ve dumped a few directly in the community folder and having add-ons on the hard drive definitely needs to be a thing.
Thank goodness all my add-on linker items are still in it’s own folder…Although I think I’m going to sub divide them even further. Funny how comfortable it is in 20, I had done some minor tinkering in certain aircraft I already remembered what I did before starting the sim proper. What will stink is having to remove the marshals and tugs again on every bush aircraft. And all those wonderful control configurations are still where I left them.
Although after tinkering with 24 I don’t feel as compulsive to have a swath of aircraft I don’t fly, world update areas I have yet to ever fly in and endless liveries, so it’s a bit meaner and leaner this time around. I’ve never uninstalled/reinstalled 2020 so will be nice to see tonight if it’s better than before.
Now may be the time to get that JF Piper bundle…
