something is definitely not right; the world trade center alone is evident enough to show there is a problem.

Also, I tried to set to default in Graphics. I got the same results; the word trade center looks like the same - just a piece of block.
This looks like you have photogrammetry data turned off in the options.
At times when your internet is congested, it may turn off automatically (there should be a popup advising you when it happens tho).
Go to general -> data, and make sure everything is on and you don’t have a data cap.

It seems that for some of us, installing new NVidia drivers resets many graphics and data settings to the lower end.
Make sure you untick “automatically optimize newly added games” in geforce experience under the games menu of the options.
If using geforce experience make sure that it didn’t default settings for msfs to optimal as it goes to low settings on everyone. Click on revert. And also uncheck the optimize new programs if it is checked or it will continue to do this.
As few people before wrote, photogrammetry is turned off , check your settings in DATA section

Thanks all for the quick help! It looks like the photogrammetry was indeed turned off! now i turned it back on and now NYC looks like the way it’s supposed to be!
by the way, is the below “data” setting similiar to most of what you have? also under my “bandwidth” i set it as “unlimited” as I use ethernet connection to my PC
