I see a lot of issues. I mostly see workarounds for them (don’t turn off the APU in the A320 now, restart the game to get live weather, VNAV is a bit wonky use VS)
I’m fine with workarounds at this early stage no problem. But the A320 left turn during flare… it doesn’t seem to be talked about a lot. The best part of the flight is setting her down nice. Nothing ruins a beautiful flight more – when you’re about to spread some warm, left-out-over-night butter on a nice piece of fluffy toast and the thing just veers to the left and almost crashes for absolutely no reason. Is everyone having this issue? Can we upvote more in the bug section?
Even the vetical motion is wrong. It’s way too sensitive, i am already at -33% sensitivity but the nose still jumps up and down. Since the autoland lands smoothly i think we can do it too, but finding the right moment and amount of stick input is very difficult and not realistic. Even though autotrim is off below 50 feet doesn’t mean the A320 has to become a diva.
A320 need to be fixed or improved.
I noticed when i takeoff, he goes to right like if there is much wind and there is no wind to make it like that. and Auto-pilot i think need to be improved too.
So after some time with this I’ve learned there’s two solutions. The one listed above turning off SEC1 which essentially turns off Fly By Wire as far as I can tell and prevents the faulty flare mode. Trim it out and fly it like a twitchy Boeing.
I’ve also noticed it only happens under 140Kts give or take. So I’ve been flying with heavier loads hence faster approach speeds and it seems to happen less.
Still, you guys need to like this more so we can bump her up!
