Help - Tilde key puts me in the sky?

For some reason if I press the tilde key (the key next to 1) along the top of the keyboard when I am sitting cold and dark MSFS puts me in the sky with the engines running. I can’t figure out why? I can’t see the key assigned to anything? Really annoying if you press it by accident.

Any help would be welcome.

I can’t remember exactly what the name of that option is, but there actually is an assignable option to do just what you’re describing.
You might double check by going into the keyboard assignments, make sure the filter is set to “all”, and then search by “input” and hit that key to see what comes up.
