Ah gotcha, I will just buy it for vanity reasons because I need to have the highest spec.
If Asobo can really make improvements with DirectX12 though I might not need to upgrade at all. Ideally my PC will serve me until Nvidia’s 5000 series cards, but if I can get a meaningful improvement to my experience by upgrading I will bite the bullet and do it.
Also, I only use MSFS in VR, and I guess higher resolution headsets will require more performance as well.
