High end VR PC

Hello im building a VR computer for a friend who is a real helicopter pilot, so need the best hardware parts for a full experience with no lags and no stuttering. No money limit for this, Appreciate your help greetings from Mexico ! many thanks

I´ve been doing some research and I got this at the moment;
MSI Suprim liquid x rtx 4090 24 gb
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D
HP Reverb G2

The G2 is not the top end HMD. A 4090 and Varjo Aero would be top end. The G2 uses LCD panels. Compared to OLED they are not even a close second. I Bought the G2 as an “upgrade” to my Odyssey+. 5 minutes is all it took to make me realize how horrible LCD panels are. Even made me give away my LCD TV and buy a Sony A95K.

I’ve got a 4090 & a 13900k. Not overclocked but I’m happy with it. Still need to keep my LOD at 100 though. It’s a killer.

If money isn’t a concern, he needs something like this: (DOF Reality H6 + VR + buttkicker + a bunch of radios & such.)

Add realistic helicopter controller: e.g. PUMA X - 5th generation USB Joystick

Is already on the list, I need the mother boar, PSU, cooling system, RAM memory, case …

$2,200 plus shipping and tax. Holy-Moly that’s insane. My collective cost about a quarter of that to build. That’s including the Original Snapmaker 3D printer to make it with.

Aero isn’t OLED, mini-LED

Really? I thought it was OLED. How do the blacks and colors of a mini-LED stack up to an OLED display? I saw a couple at BestBuy a couple of weeks ago but didn’t look to closely as I had my mind set on the QD-OLED TV.

Not as good as OLED but still good AFAIK.

I have the puma, it is nice build and robust, seems to be ultra sensitive which causes some issues in msfs and dcs

So you think this is not an option for the project ? What would you recommend ?

If you’re looking for off-the-shelf controllers, Virpil has some Helo controllers that look nice.
