High mountains around the equator have snow. Not realistic

They do in Africa, don’t the Andes have snow cover near the equator in RL?

Only above certain altitude. But mountains around 9000 to let’s say 11000 thousand feet don’t. SKBO (Bogota)is 8400 feet and non of the mountains around it have snow.

Upload prints, I believe you are confusing it with clouds in the sat imagery.

Will do today

You can see here, lots of clouds in the imagery:

If this is what you are seeing, that’s not snow.

No snow around SKBO today, the 10th December.
(It seems impossible to add a video)

You have to upload on youtube (or any other site) and post the link here.

this south south west of skbo today

Those are clouds, not snow.

aprox hight of that mountain is 9500 feet

those are the only two mountains in this area in Colombia that should have snow

As @Cahzito has already said, twice, those are clouds.

Here is a picture of the same area in Bing maps, where you can more clearly see that they are clouds and also see the cloud shadows on the ground

I would agree that it looks poor.

Very poorly simulated then. You need to go to Bing to actually see they are clouds. The Bing picture do not show the clouds sitting right on top of the mountain, the clouds have shadows. Will be running Bing maps alongside the sim from now on.
