Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quad: No LED lights Must click on AFC_Bridge.exe

If you can’t get your LED lights (NAV HDG etc) buttons on your Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant to light, and you find you have to go inside the AFC_Bridge folder and click on bin/AFC_Bridge.exe in order to get the led button signs running, try this.

  1. In the 2020 directory LocalCache is a file named exe.xml.
  2. Delete exe.xml and reinstall the exe contained within the zip AS_HONEYCOMB_MSFS.zip which you can download from Honeycom.

When done your new exe.xml should look something like:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

<SimBase.Document Type=“SimConnect” version=“1,0”>
Auto launch external applications on MSFS start
exe.xml
False
<Launch.Addon>
AFCBridge
False
C:\Users\lj\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\community\AFC_Bridge\bin\AFC_Bridge.exe
</Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

The important part is “Auto Launch external app”. So reading this exe.xml file, during startup 2020 will go to the file location stated in the file exe.xml read it and then launch the AFC_Bridge.exe module/file Hopefully, you’ll have led lights on next startup.
