Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant arrived today, need to configure settings out of box

A few questions on how to make the most of the Bravo…

I have got my Bravo and Alpha setup to do the basics for both the C208 and A320 using the default control templates. I’m really enjoying it but want to get the most out of it, so I have a few questions for those of you who have been using this for awhile…

First… What is the proper sequence to use the auto pilot controls on the Bravo when controlling a G1000 AP like in the Grand Caravan… before I take off, I’ve been setting the left knob to altitude, dialing in an altitude, then setting the left knob to VS and selecting a speed with the right knob. This seems to work. But once you are airborne, what is the best way to say increase altitude or decrease?

Next… The AP in the A320 is obviously a bit more sophisticated with “Select” (pull) and “Managed” (push) modes for altitude. I’ve not really been able to figure out how to use the Bravo AP controls with the Airbus… is it possible? What is the best sequence to use?

Last… What are you mapping to the toggle switches in the middle? I haven’t really found anything useful for those buttons, so could use some suggestions.
