I set the toggle switches to:
Parking brake, Fuel pump, Cabin lights, Panel lights, Anti Ice, Yaw damper and Pitot heat.
But you must use FSUIPC(payware) or FS_tools (freeware) or simular tools to bypas the Toggle settings and use the switches as Buttons 
These tools also fix the 10 degrees and altitude bug as a bonus. Maybe MSFS fixed this behavior in a world or Sim update…
