Well, it’s been like that for years so don’t expect a sudden priority fix. We can always hope though!
The best advice I can give is to try some of the third-party input management apps like spad.next, FSUIPC, or Axis and Ohs, which can take over the actual talking to input devices and communicate with the sim using SimConnect events.
This is essentially what’s happening internally with the standard input management, but you have more ability to control what’s going on, or even do advanced custom scripting.
It’s possible to do different things with the trim wheel here, such as setting a specific angle based on how many clicks you’ve registered.
