In a Cessna 152 or 172 it takes about a hundred spins or so (it feels like this at least, didn’t count) if you want to trim the initial climb. Even when turning slowly to accommodate for the encoder delay. You can even see that when watching the trim wheel in the cockpit. To your full 360 degree spin it rotates about 0.5 to 1 degree in the cockpit.
Not a pilot but I don’t think it is that unresponsive.
