Reproducing the error is key is other users being able to assist
As a reminder, this is a user-to-user assistance thread, you may see Working Title and others participating, but that’s not a guaranteed occurrence
- Describe your situation in detail, including the aircraft you’re using.
- If relevant, include your Flight Plan as a .PLN that others can use to try and reproduce.
- Please search for the issue you’re encountering, it’s entirely possible someone has run into it and even gained a solution.

Today I flew the Seastar from KSBP to KTRK.
I noted today two particularities with the autopilot.
- I preselected my cruise altitude and climbed in SPD mode. Upon reaching the set altitude, the AP overshot it by about 200’ and then didn’t correct and descend to the set altitude. It just stabilized there and went on its way. I had to manually take over and reset Alt Hold at the appropriate altitude.
- During a particularly long cruise leg I noted the AP had at some point slipped below the set cruise altitude by about 200’ similarly to what I noted in #1 above and held there. Likewise, I had to manually ascend and reestablish Alt Hold at the correct altitude.
In both cases, the selected altitude setting changed from magenta to amber.
It didn’t misbehave the rest of the flight.
Are these issues going to be one of AP tuning for the developer of the Seastar or is this a WT issue to investigate?
