Hotas warthog owners

I have hotas warthog and ch pedals
Controlling airbus and 747 is very hard. It feels like a rock. During landing they are going to left or right.
I am not happy with the current handling. Tried some curves and deadzones but still messy. How do you use yours?

I have not got a warthog personally, but can you check that you bound your controllers to the axis commands? For example you should be using ‘elevator axis’ instead of ‘elevator up’ and ‘elevator down’.

Warthog user here. Not very experienced in flying Airliners (more into DCS), so I cant compare to other Flight Sims 747 versions, but all in all it feels pretty good to me. all inputs work and the behavior seems logical

Can you share your axis settings for throttle and stick?
And I am sure none of the axis has been assigned as button

All default settings:
stick x-axis:
sens -50%
dead zone 2%

y-axis:
sens -50%
0%

throttle all:
sens 1%
dz 6%

This will help you…as above, ensure that your control surfaces are assigned to an axis and not a button input

Oh and make sure ‘Assists’ have been turned off in options.

Playing with a HOTAS Warthog here…when I click the sensitivity tab in the menu the box pops up but there are no sensitivity settings to change…any ideas?

Probably related, but when I am flying airliners the throttles always show about 20% minimum…ie they don’t seem to go to idle. On the external view in the hud it says lever at 0% but as above the engines still at around 20%. On the internal view with the throttles at 0% I am still getting N1 and N2 thrust.

The Warthog Throttle has an idle position and an off psn which requires the throttle to be lifted and pushed further back. Maybe that might solve the issue.
The sensitivity control got lost in the last update.

Search top right corner (magnifying glass)…

Hi guys I am new here, just got my Hotas Warthog…
And I am probably a noob and missing the obvious…
But does anybody had issues with the rudder trim?
I can see the signal getting picked up, but it does
not seem to work in game.
Thanks in advance,

Luuster
