HotFix in the meantime?

I can’t wait for the next update and the three weeks of complaints posted on the forum about how there’s no longer any lift when the flaps are extended because everyone forgot to uninstall these changes they are making now.

I estimate Asobo very much, but this is a severe bug and should be fixed immediately.

I decided to stop flying with MSFS, landing is so weird with such bug, we don’t need helicopter anymore with such low speed  and the fact they don’t hotfix killed me.
Rendez-vous when next Sim update land in comings weeks.

Default planes get overwritten with updates. Mods however, are another story.

They are only overwritten if Asobo changes something on that particular aircraft (package), which isn’t always the case.

So when changing something, it’s worth noting down the old value and crosscheck manually after the next update which of the files need to be reverted manually.

Seems like a waste of time to add another post of well deserved frustration. Can we in the mean time pretend this is how it will be, when our technology is used on Mars with flaps deployed resulting in a sudden loss of gravity…
Either that or we just need to go do something else for the next few weeks.

No mention of the airports infested with the annoying taxiway edge signs all over ! They won’t fix it ?

You know, I try to see the sim for what it is and work within the current limitations. But this current crop of bugs and a refusal to release a hot fix has finally made the sim unplayable for me. Yes I know I could edit a config file but the point is, I shouldn’t have to.

If the build process is so complex that they can’t put together a hot fix easily, then perhaps they need to examine the process itself and either refine it or scrap it and create a more efficient process.

I guess it is back to X-Plane until the next update…next month… smh

I already know the moderators reported the issue on day one, however it sadly don’t mean that there will be a fix sooner, confirmed by early experiences with the dev team.
