This is great, thanks for the detailed write up. I’ll try to follow along, but I’m not super technical so we’ll see how far I can get. I’m really hoping to avoid downloading the sim again. I had to download it like 3-4x last month while I was fighting this issue and I went over my bandwidth limit. This is also why I’m wondering if they’re now throttling the game connection. I downloaded the game to a SSD D: drive, and windows is on C:, so this allows me to reinstall windows without having to redo load the game.
I’ll try a VPN and new ethernet drivers to see if either help. Thanks!
