How are missions in careermode generated?

So I’m wondering if it’s a bug or design. I’ve started my charter busines with the Vision jet. I got it delivered at Orlando but in whole Florida there are no charter missions at all. No regular nor VIP. So I waited a few days but nothing changed. I then transfered the jet to SFO. I fast traveled the west USA coast to unlock, from like the Mexican border up to Vancouver Island en then like from Calgary to Albuquerue. Within that range only 4 airports have missions, which direct to them;

Revelstoke - Big Bear City - Arnold - Steamboat Springs

For all the weeks passed these are the only options. Never there is a mission that flies outside territory to discover new nor are there missions to other airports or bigget ones like L.A. SFO, Vegas etc. Why is this so limited? And what can or should I do to alter this? After three weeks still no missions in Florida, none. Europe same story as west USA.

Yeah mission generation is rough, and thats putting it kindly.

I’ve used it to practice landing in the vision jet at Southampton and Glasgow in nasty weather. I’ve unlocked a lot of landmass including all of japan, spain, greece, italy, france, netherlands, uk, germany and its always the same sparse VIP missions.

It’ll get addressed, eventually.

The VIP missions all seem to be to airports near ski areas. There’s one to Aspen as well as the others you mentioned. The Arnold one is ridiculous for several reasons, one of which is the tiny town of Arnold is 20 miles from and has nothing to do with that private airport. Mammoth or Truckee would have been so much more appropriate.
