How can I get MSFS 2024 to run on my 2 computers simultaneously?

I have 2 computers, one for scenery development and one to run the game.
I have purchased 2 copies of MSFS 2020 one from Microsoft on Xbox and one from Steam.
I thought I could have both computers running 2020 simultaneously, but alas I have to sign out on one computer to run on the other. Even though I paid for 2 copies of msfs 2020. I read somewhere I have to have 2 different MS accounts and the computers signed in to different accounts.

That’s correct, you cannot run two copies of MSFS under one user name, even though you have bought a second copy. Must have individual usernames. You could try to re-register one under a different username but I wouldn’t hold my breath…
