How can I move the Sim to another SSD which is the faster drive without using the Move command?

Hi there, I have a question, how can I move the Sim to another Drive without using the Move Command?

At the moment I have the sim on C drive. I would like to move it to the D Drive, which is the faster SSD Drive.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Me personally I used the move option. There is a method of copying the folder then editing the cfg file to point it to the new drive. Maybe someone who gone that route could chime in.

If it were X-Plane just copy and paste the thing and it will work itself out.

Done it more than once.

I did it a while back by cloning the drive with macrium reflect. I had to run a repair after but it only took a few minutes. Has run flawlessly for several months since.

Be sure to read this - https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017897099-Why-am-I-redownloading-all-the-packages-after-each-update-

Just move the directory with the community and official folders in it. That’s the sim.

After you move the files, be sure to edit the UserCfg.opt file.

Easy peasy.
