I asked one time about selecting the sim to use ONLY male pilot voices for the ATC and was told something like “it’s random”.
Well, about 90% of the time, and even though I have a MALE pilot avatar, a female voice answered the ATC.
I want to prevent this forever, and I want the sim to ONLY use male voice’s for the pilot’s in EVERY plane I fly.
Should be easy enough right? So is there a way to make this happen?

It certainly seems logical to link the gender of the voice to the gender of the crew, in fact it is a gross error not to.
However, I doubt there is currently a way to do this. I wouldn’t think it very hard for Asobo to do it, especially since I believe they are considering fitting the accent of the ATC to the area (another obvious improvement), so they should certainly add it to their TODO list.
Be sure in each plane the CO PILOT is set to male as that is who does the talking.
I tried this already in the aircraft/cfg the pilots are all female in every plane, the co-pilots are all male, and the instructors are all male as well.
I even tried setting a couple of them to all male, and I tried switching them around Poliot/co-pilot, but it still didn’t work.
This is strange because my co-pilot is a male as well…
I guess it’s just broken. I understand this is probably not a priority, but it has been 2 years. I think I will try a reinstall because it wasn’t always like this before (at least I don’t remember it being this way as much), maybe one of my add-ons goobed this up?
Pretty sad, I mean even FSX had this feature/option in the settings.

Male can have a female voice too. It is a perfectly normal.
Is this Azure Voice? Try using Offline. Offline should absolutely conform to your avatar choice.
They can also squeal in dolphin, turn invisible, and walk on the ceiling. Perfectly normal… 
A bit offtopic but I actually love that male offline voice which sounds like a Texan who smokes chain since 1950 
had to laugh hard at that one after ATC force switched to offline one day
